Founded on May 29, 2006, and authorized to legally operate by the Department of State of Florida on May 7, 2007, Vincent International Ministries, Inc. (V.I.M.) is a not-for-profit Christian institution whose main goals are the following:
- Contribute to the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere in the world, particularly in Haiti;
- Provide spiritual and administrative guidance to pastors, deacons and church committees for the betterment of their respective churches;
- Provide theological training to Christians living in many parts of the world, particularly in the United states and in Haiti;
- Establish educational projects for destitute children, particularly in Haiti;
- Establish projects for widows, the elderly and orphans in many regions of the world, particularly in Haiti.
To achieve the above-mentioned goals, Vincent International Ministries, Inc. intends to:
- Use its website for the purpose of providing online training in English, French and Creole;
- Publish quarterly Biblical studies in the form of brochures, cassettes, CDs and DVDs;
- To organize leadership seminars to train pastors, deacons and lay persons;
- Organize missionary trips in different parts of the world;
- Organize fundraising activities to build schools, orphanages, and nursing homes for the elderly in Haiti.
- Bring a financial assistance to the widows, the elderly and the orphans who do not have any recourse to a better life. V.I.M. intends also to contribute to the education of the impoverished in different regions of the world, particularly in Haiti in order to reduce the illiteracy rate which is the highest in the Western Hemisphere. Projects such as: construction of school; halfway houses for adults, the elderly and the orphans, and subsidizing of tuition fees for destitute children will be implemented.
That is the social mission of the church. A mission that is often neglected or ill conceived. Vincent International Ministries, Inc. firmly believes that the more Christians are educated, the more they are able to promote the Gospel of the Lord, JESUS. Moreover, the more people in general are educated, the more they will be able to contribute to the development of their country and to work toward the creation of a just society based on love and solidarity.
